Training staff of distributor and local NGOs held with Collaboration of Sukkur IBA at Jacobabad from October 29-31, 2013. Training covered the following topics: Report Writing, Accounting, Motivation and Presentation Skills.
National Interchange on Teacher Education Reforms
USAID Teacher Education Project organized an interchange on teacher education reforms to discuss the reforms in pre-service as well as in-service teacher education in Pakistan based on the recent work in reforming Teacher Education curriculum initiated by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Continuous Professional Development
Three Day Training workshop held on "Continuous Professional Development" of IBA Community College Teachers at Sukkur IBA from June 12-14, 2013, the training was conducted by the following members of Department of Education: Dr. Irfan Ahmed Rind, Mr. Shahid Mughal, Ms. Sadaf Hussainy, Mr. Zafar Sahito, Mr. Mahmood Dool, Mr. Sharik Zamir.
USAID Scholarship Distribution
Teachers play an important role in preparing our youth for a promising future. The USAID Teacher Education Project is providing merit-based scholarships to B. Ed (Hons) Program. The scholarship covers academic fee of the program.
Involvement of faculty in SAT Project, item development, construction of Pilot, Review & pilot test analysis.
The Department of Education (DoE) was established in 2011 with the purpose of improving quality of teachers' education programs and trainings for building teachers' capacity and enhancing their professional status. The overall aim is to raise the standards of education and education related research at regional and national level.
Currently, the DoE is successfully managing the following Programs:
